May is Mental Health Awareness Month and on May 4th, the Indiana County Community Support Program will be sponsoring a Mental Health Awareness Fair from 4pm-7pm at IRMC Park.
The Indiana County Community Support Program is an organized network of consumers, family members, and professionals united by a common goal: To Promote Mental Health Recovery!
Prior to the Mental Health Awareness Fair, there will be a proclamation at the courthouse at 2:30p.m. Then a short walk will follow from the courthouse to Seventh Street.
This free community event will include vendor resource tables, giveaways, door prizes, and activities including face painting, spin art and slime making. Expect hot dogs, popcorn and many refreshments.
The Community Support Program wants to make a positive impact on the lives of persons and family members living with mental illness in our community. Join us to support National Mental Health Awareness Month by making this event even more successful then years past!
