Is your business or nonprofit interested in solar energy? Then join G.E.T. Solar: Indiana to learn about going solar and how it can save your organization money.
G.E.T. Solar: Indiana is a community-led group partnering with the PA Solar Center (a statewide nonprofit) to educate businesses, nonprofits, and community property owners on the benefits of going solar through their G.E.T. Solar Communities program. With the rising cost of electricity and new federal incentives available, now is an opportune time to explore how installing solar on your property can save money.
The PA Solar Center will also offer a free assessment of your organization's solar potential, and issue RFPs (requests for proposals) for estimates from qualified solar developers on your behalf! The PA Solar Center will review the bids with you and help you make sense of them — serving as your unbiased guide through the entire process. There is no expectation of signing contracts and no fees associated with joining the program to see how much a solar system might cost.
In addition, learn creative ways your own business or organization can reap the benefits of solar energy by attending an informational session on Friday, December 16th, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. (Register in the link below)
At the meeting, you can expect to learn more about PA Solar Center's technical assistance and possible financing options such as:
- Tax credits
- Grant programs
- USDA REAP program grants and loans.
