Indiana County “on behalf of” Indiana Borough
Indiana County on behalf of the Borough of Indiana hereby announces its intention to prepare a grant application and three-year community improvement plan under the 2023 Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Program (CDBG). The proposed application will request approximately $206,411.00 in CDBG Entitlement Funds. The proposed entitlement application will allocate funds to the S. 15th Street Storm Sewer Improvements/Phase II Project; a planning activity with the remaining amount for administration/audit. The project will benefit at least 51% low-moderate income persons in the proposed project area.
The grant applications will be submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development no later than October 27, 2023. Citizens are invited to examine the plans, once a determination has been made, and to comment on the proposed application and three-year plan between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development, Indiana County Courthouse Annex – 801 Water Street, Indiana, PA 15701 or call 724-465-3870 (Voice) or 724-465-3800 (TDD).
Comments on the proposed project will be accepted at the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development until September 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
