April 14, 2025: Traffic, Construction Alerts

Watch out for the following construction during the week of April 14, 2025!

April 14, 2025:

• The following work will be completed on IUP’s campus:

  • Putt Hall at the volleyball courts

  • Stephenson Hall at the volleyball courts

• Tim's HVAC Plumbing and Hardware will be completing work on N. 9th Street between Nixon Avenue and Water Street (2 days)

April 15, 2025:

• Weibel Excavation will be completing work on School Street between 13th Street and Lowry Avenue (2-3 days)

• Leon Kensey B&D Sealcoating will be completing work on Grant Street between S. 3rd and S. 4th Streets

April 16, 2025:

• Gulisek (for People’s Gas) will be repairing sidewalks and curbs at the following locations (1 week):

  • Chestnut Street between N. 6th and N. 7th Streets

  • N. 6th Street between Chestnut Street and Stannard Avenue

• Lindy Paving (for People’s Gas) will be repairing sidewalks and curbs at the following locations (2 months):

  • Water Street between N. 8th and N. 7th Streets

  • N. Carpenter Avenue between Nixon Avenue and Philadelphia Street

  • The intersection of N. 8th and Philadelphia Streets

• PA American Water will be completing work on N. 9th Street between Nixon Avenue and Water Street

• Holbein, Inc., will be completing work in the alley way next to Lentz Kitchen and Bath near Nixon Avenue and Water Street (2 weeks)

April 17, 2025:

• Ray Winters and Sons will be completing work near N. 5th and Chestnut Street (2 weeks)
