Indiana Borough has another opening on Council within the East Ward and invites engaged residents to step into an important role during a period of structural transition. As the Borough Council consolidates from twelve to eight Councilmembers next year, this is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our community. Council is responsible for setting municipal policies and overseeing daily management. Members serve part-time without compensation. All new Council members receive a thorough orientation to ensure effective participation.
The individual appointed to the role of Councilmember will be asked to serve a term lasting until December 31, 2025. If you've been a resident of the East Ward for at least one year and are interested in serving, please submit a Letter of Interest.
