Indiana In The Morning listeners today heard about everything solar going on in Indiana County!
The county-wide solar co-op is ongoing and open to new members until Jan 31, 2023. It's free to join and members can choose at the end of the co-op whether they want to sign any contracts or not.
The Indiana County Sustainable Economic Development Task Force is hosting their fifth annual Sustainability Summit on October 8th in the HUB at IUP. Attendance is free and so is lunch! Please RSVP for the caters to get an idea of a total headcount.
Lastly, the G.E.T Solar program was briefly touched on. This is a new program for Borough and White Township businesses and nonprofits to go solar at the lowest cost possible, thanks to technical assistance from PA Solar Center. We are excited to share more information about this opportunity in the coming weeks!
