Edit 7/5/2023: Per the request of the contractor, the bidded paving projects for this year will begin construction later in the month. We're expecting work to begin on either the 14th or 17th. Another update will be shared once work is underway.

This year's annual summer contracted paving bid was approved in April. Work on the following roadways will start on Wednesday, July 5th:

- South Avenue (between 6th Street – Maryland Way)

- Clark Avenue (between 6th Street – Maryland Way)

- Willow Avenue (between 6th Street – 7th Street)

- Virginia Avenue (between 6th Street – 7th Street)

- Diamond Avenue (between 6th Street – 7th Street)

- Maryland Way (between South Avenue – Diamond Avenue)

- Carpenter Avenue (between Philadelphia Street – Church Street)

- Gompers Avenue (between 10th Street – 11th Street)

The work will consist of milling for a couple days, then paving the following week. Work is expected to last for two weeks and traffic will be directed in the area while work is underway.
