More smoke testing of sewer mains and laterals will occur again on Thursday and Friday from 8AM to 2PM. As weather conditions must be dry, testing may be postponed if it is raining or the ground is sufficiently wet.

This round of testing will be done from Gompers Avenue to Locust Street between South 7th Street & South 4th Street. Potentially affected homes should have received a door hanger notice on their front door today.

The smoke used is non-toxic and harmless to plants, animals and children. Residents with smoke in their homes are urged to notify the workers in the street conducting the tests, or to call the main office at (724) 465-6691
