More smoke testing of sewer mains and laterals will occur again on Monday from 8AM to 2PM. As weather conditions must be dry, testing may be postponed if it is raining or the ground is sufficiently wet.

This round of testing will be done around areas north of Water Street between 4th Street and 5th Street. Potentially affected homes should have received a door hanger notice on their front door today.

The smoke used is non-toxic and harmless to plants, animals and children. Residents with smoke in their homes are urged to notify the workers in the street conducting the tests, or to call the main office at (724) 465-6691
